MLB: Florida 7, Baltimore 6

Miami, June 23: Jorge Cantu singled home Emilio Bonifacio in the 12th inning Tuesday to give the Florida Marlins a 7-6 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

Florida had led by five runs in the eighth inning before the Orioles' comeback forced extra innings.

Burke Badenhop (5-2) got the inter-league win with two scoreless innings of relief after Matt Lindstrom allowed three runs in the ninth. Florida starter Andrew Miller pitched seven innings of one-run ball, allowing just one hit and two walks.

Hanley Ramirez had a grand slam and Dan Uggla added a solo homer as the Marlins picked up their seventh win in their last 10 games.

MLB: Baltimore 6, N.Y. Mets 4

Baltimore, June 17: Aubrey Huff put Baltimore in front with a two-run homer in the seventh inning Wednesday and the Orioles held on to down the New York Mets 6-4.

The Mets scored twice in the sixth to tie the score, but Baltimore produced the decisive runs one inning later against reliever Pedro Feliciano (2-2).

Bobby Parnell opened the seventh and struck out Adam Jones. Feliciano then came on and gave up a single to Nick Markakis before surrendering Huff's ninth homer of the season. Huff also singled in a run in the first and Matt Wieters contributed a two-run homer in the second.

Jim Johnson (3-3), the fourth Baltimore pitcher, worked two innings to get the inter-league win. George Sherrill picked up his 13th save.

MLB: Seattle 6, Baltimore 3

Baltimore, June 11: Russell Branyan hit a solo homer and drove in three runs Thursday, helping the Seattle Mariners rally from an early deficit to a 6-3 victory over Baltimore.

The Mariners won for the fourth time in five games, chipping away with 12 hits after Baltimore's Luke Scott hit a two-run homer in the first.

Branyan singled in the first of Seattle's three runs in the third, delivered a sacrifice fly in the fifth and produced his 14th homer of the season in the seventh.

Garrett Olson (1-1), making a spot start for the Mariners, got the win by limiting Baltimore to two runs over five innings. David Aardsma struck out two in a perfect ninth inning for his 11th save.
