NBA: Houston 110, Cleveland 95

Houston -- The Houston Rockets rode Kevin Martin's season-high 40 points to a 110-95 victory over the slumping Cleveland Cavaliers Saturday.

Martin missed just seven of his 19 shots from the field and only one of his 14 free-throw attempts.

The Rockets also were aided by Luis Scola's 14 points and 14 rebounds, and 16 points by reserve Chase Budinger.

Cleveland, which lost its seventh straight, was led by Antawn Jamison's season-high 24 points.

NBA: Houston 127, Memphis 111

Memphis -- Kevin Martin and Kyle Lowry led an outstanding Houston shooting performance Friday that brought the Rockets a 127-111 victory over Memphis.

Houston won on the road for the first time in five tries and has been victorious in each of its last six trips to Memphis.

Martin and Lowry both scored 28 points while combining to hit 18-of-28 shots from the field. The Rockets made 59 percent of their field goal attempts, 23-of-26 from the line and 16-of-23 from 3-point range.

Houston pulled away late after leading by only four early in the fourth quarter.

Rudy Gay had 29 points for Memphis and Marc Gasol scored 20. The Grizzlies have lost two in a row and had a four-game home winning streak snapped.

NBA: Houston 99, Oklahoma City 98

Houston -- Kevin Martin and Shane Battier combined for 41 points Sunday, propelling the Houston Rockets to a 99-98 victory over Oklahoma City.

Martin pumped in 23 points and Battier added 18 for the Rockets, who barely hung on for the victory when Kevin Durant missed a potential game winning jumper at the buzzer for the Thunder.

Kyle Lowry contributed 14 points and Luis Scola chipped in 13 for Houston.

Oklahoma City was led by Russell Westbrook, who scored 23 points and distributed 10 assists, and Durant, who finished with 18 points.

NBA: Houston 113, Utah 96

Houston -- Kevin Martin and Aaron Brooks both scored 28 points Wednesday in leading the Houston Rockets to a 113-96 decision over Utah.

The Rockets, long since out of playoff contention, knocked off a team that came into the game holding down the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference but has yet to clinch home-court advantage in the opening round.

Utah opened the night's action with a half-game advantage over Dallas, Phoenix and Denver.

Luis Scola added 24 points for the Rockets, winners of two straight, and Charles Hayes had 18 rebounds.

NBA: Houston 113, Memphis 103

Memphis -- Kevin Martin scored 29 points and the Houston Rockets held off a late Memphis rally to beat the Grizzlies 113-103 Tuesday.

Houston got 17 points apiece from Aaron Brooks and Luis Scola in its second victory in three games.

Zach Randolph scored 22 points and had seven rebounds for the Grizzlies, who lost their fifth game in their last six outings. Rudy Gay added 20.

The Grizzlies trailed 59-55 at halftime and 88-74 at the end of the third quarter but began the fourth with a 14-2 run that got them back into the game. Memphis pulled to within two points three times, and each time the Rockets put together enough of a surge to give themselves some breathing room.

NBA: Sacramento 104, Utah 99

Salt Lake City -- Sacramento got a big night from rookie Tyreke Evans, who scored 32 points to pace the Kings to a 104-99 win over the Utah Jazz Saturday.

Along with a career-high scoring night, Evans notched seven assists as the Kings coped with the loss of guard Kevin Martin for the first time after he suffered a fractured left wrist.

Beno Udrih chipped in with 15 points and Andres Nocioni scored 14 for Sacramento.

Jason Thompson had 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Donte Greene hit 10 points.

The Jazz closed to within 99-95 with 17.5 second left on a 3-pointer by Deron Williams, who totaled 29 points and 15 assists on the night. But that was as close Utah got.

NBA: Atlanta 113, Sacramento 105

Sacramento -- Jamal Crawford scored 26 points off the bench Wednesday to help the Atlanta Hawks to a 113-105 win over Sacramento.

Crawford hit on 10-of-15 from the floor, including 3-of-5 3-point attempts. Joe Johnson also scored 26 and snagged eight rebounds for the Hawks, who have opened the season with four wins in five games. Josh Smith scored 14 and Mike Bibby and Marvin Williams scored 13 apiece for Atlanta.

Kevin Martin had 29 points and 11 rebounds for the Kings, who have four losses in five games to start the season.

Jason Thompson had 22 points and 12 rebounds, Tyreke Evans scored 15 and Andres Nocioni and Beno Udrih had 14 apiece for Sacramento.
