Timberlake injures leg on film set

Los Angeles -- Production on the thriller "Now" has been temporarily halted after U.S. pop star and actor Justin Timberlake injured his leg doing a stunt, E! News said.

The incident happened last week but there was no word on exactly what Timberlake was doing when he sustained the injury. Cameras are expected to start rolling again sometime next week, a source told E! News.

"Justin Timberlake sustained a muscle injury to his calf on the set of Andrew Niccol's thriller 'Now.' Production has taken a brief hiatus and will resume shortly," representatives for the film said in a statement Monday.

The film co-stars Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Wilde.

Byrd's ace wins 3-way Vegas playoff

Las Vegas -- Jonathan Byrd sank a hole-in-one on the fourth hole of a three-way playoff Sunday to win the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

Byrd's ace in the fading daylight on the par-three 17th allowed him to best last year's winner Martin Laird and Cameron Percy in stunning fashion at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas.

Byrd teed off first among the trio. His shot bounced hard and then rolled 10 feet directly into the cup. Due to the darkness, Byrd couldn't tell at first what had happened and so hardly reacted.

"I couldn't see it," Byrd told The Golf Channel. "I'm in shock. I think the people at the green were the only people who could see it. I hit it perfect. For it to go in, that's just luck."

Eva Longoria Parker slightly injured in car collision

Eva Longoria Parker suffered minor injuries in a car accident on Wednesday evening. The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star was driving in Hollywood, when her car was hit by another vehicle. Luckily, no serious injuries were reported.

Timberlake says music will have to wait

Los Angeles -- U.S. pop star Justin Timberlake says he is enjoying his success as an actor and is putting his music career on hold.

Timberlake told Entertainment Weekly magazine he isn't sure when he will do a follow-up to 2006's "Futuresex/Lovesounds."

"I'll know when I'll know (it's time to go into the studio again)," he said.

The "SexyBack" singer said he'll follow up his supporting role in a new film, "The Social Network," with a new movie next month.

Studio completes Memphis-to-Nashville move

Memphis -- House of Blues Studio D -- the Memphis studio for Isaac Hayes, Sam the Sham and Three 6 Mafia -- says it's completed its trek to its new home in Nashville.

The move complete, Studio D will be part of Gary Belz's House of Blues studio complex while the main House of Blues facility will remain in operation in Memphis, The (Memphis) Commercial Appeal reported Tuesday.

"Memphis has been very good to us over the years, but at the same time Nashville has a base and is still growing," Belz said. "We've had a surplus of (recording) rooms in Memphis for a while and a lack of rooms in Nashville, so the move made sense."

Reps deny Timberlake, John 'Idol' buzz

New York -- Justin Timberlake and Elton John's respective representatives say there is no truth to rumors claiming they want to be judges on "American Idol."

Simon Cowell vacated his judge's chair at the end of the singing competition show's ninth season. Since then, rumors regarding his imminent replacement have been rampant on the Internet.

However, MTV News said reports this week claiming Timberlake and John are interested in Cowell's old job are completely untrue.

An unnamed source close to Timberlake dismissed the rumor as "just silly," while John's publicist said: "Elton's got commitments right up until next year. … As we stand at the moment, Elton has no plans to do that show," MTV News reported.

The couple joined a star-sprinkled crowd Thursday at Taylor Swift's concert, People magazine reported. Kobe Bryant and his family, Phil Mickelson, fresh off his win at the Master's, and Jennie Garth and her daughter were also in the audience.

Biel spent some time in Swift's backstage "T-Party Room," equipped with pillows, candles and snacks. Timberlake and Swift spent the time chatting.
Timberlake and Biel showed up Wednesday night at the Mint for a Matt Morris show.

Timberlake is currently filming "Bad Teacher" with his ex-girlfriend, Cameron Diaz.
