A JetBlue flight attendant, who got in an altercation with a passenger on a jetliner and then pulled the emergency chute at the back of the plane and jumped out, has been arrested in New York, according to numerous published reports, citing police authorities.

Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner took the much anticipated flight in Seattle earlier this month.

A midsized wide body aircraft developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Boeing can seat approximately 330 passengers. Boeing 787 model is said to be the most fuel-efficient commercial aircraft of the world till date.

The airlines made history when 840 of its aircrafts were ordered by 54 customers around the world, making it the fastest-selling new commercial jetliner.
