Marriage annulled after affair considered

Rome -- The top appeals court in Italy annulled the marriage of a woman who "theorized" about having an affair but never actually cheated.

The woman had filed the appeal against the annulment to seek a divorce involving alimony payments.

Court sources told ANSA the couple told judges she had "theorized" about marriage without sexual fidelity, but "never put the idea into practice."
