Bee reported Wednesday.

Wife denies attack over hair weave

Lynn, Mass. -- A Massachusetts woman has denied allegations she chased her husband with a knife because he wouldn't help with her hair weave.

Lynn police said Kenneth Rudolph, 48, called 911 Saturday and he told arriving officers his wife, Kaukauna Gethers Rudolph, 51, had chased him with a 15-inch knife because he refused to help her while she was taking out her old hair weave in preparation for putting in new extensions, The Boston Herald reported Wednesday.

Police said the wife was holding the knife behind her back when they arrived. She was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and resisting arrest.

However, Kaukauna Gethers Rudolph said she never asked her husband to help with her hair.
