Winner Wandy Rodriguez (14-11) surrendered two runs and nine hits in six innings with one walk and nine strikeouts.

Closer Jose Valverde earned his 25th save with a scoreless ninth.

Cincinnati's Jonny Gomes and Ramon Hernandez had two hit and one RBI each.
