Los Angeles -- A man suspected of being involved in the slaying of celebrity publicist Ronni Chasen shot himself at a Hollywood hotel Wednesday, the Los Angeles Times said.
Citing two law enforcement sources it did not identify, the newspaper said the man took his own life as Beverly Hills, Calif., police were attempting to serve a search warrant around 6 p.m. PST.
Chasen was shot multiple times Nov. 16 as she was driving home from a party celebrating the Cher-Christina Aguilera movie musical "Burlesque."
The Los Angeles Times said its police sources did not disclose the identity of the man who killed himself Wednesday or his connection to the Chasen case.
