After handing over $356,329 (£237,556) for the completed work, he allegedly failed to pay the remaining $47,033 (£31,355).

The company has now filed suit demanding the outstanding amount, as well as $24,848 (£15,565) in interest, according to TMZ.Com.

Francis sues former employees.

Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis is suing three former employees who allegedly tried to embezzle the star's cash and land him in jail.

Lawyers for Francis filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday (01Sep09) claiming three "high-level employees" from his company hatched a plan to abstract money through a new business called WMR Marketing, created without Francis' knowledge in 2002.

Francis alleges the men "misused their positions" to approve deals with WMR so they could funnel funds from his Girls Gone Wild empire to the new company.

Francis: 'I would never attack a woman'

Girls gone wild founder Joe Francis has hit back at accusations he assaulted Brody Jenner's girlfriend, insisting The Hills star actually attacked him.

Jenner alleged on Friday (28Aug09) that Francis "punched and kicked" Playboy model Jayde Nicole at Hollywood hotspot Guys & Dolls after she threw a drink at him to keep him from hitting on her pal.

Jenner claims he then followed Francis out of the venue and punched him in the face - but was struck with a Taser gun.

But Francis insists it was Jenner who assaulted him - and maintains there is security footage that will prove he didn't assault Nicole.

Francis responded by pulling Nicole's hair, then punching her in the face, knocking the Playboy Playmate to the ground and kicking her body, Jenner told the entertainment news Web site.

Security reportedly intervened and escorted Francis out of the club. Jenner said he followed, yelling at Francis, and he, too, was evicted from the venue.
