New York -- Peace Arch Entertainment has announced plans to release "Fragments," the film adaptation of Roy Freirich's novel "Winged Creatures," theatrically in New York.
Starring Kate Beckinsale, Dakota Fanning, Guy Pearce, Forest Whitaker, Jennifer Hudson, Jackie Earle Haley, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Embeth Davidtz, the movie is set to open in New York Friday and in Los Angeles Aug. 7.
The R-rated ensemble drama is directed by Rowan Woods, whose film credits include "Little Fish" and "The Boys."
Freirich wrote the screenplay for "Fragments," based on his book.
