Prince Alwaleed bin Talal from the royal family of Saudi Arab said during an interview to CNN that his country would like to see the oil prices between $70 and $80 so that the US and the European nations do not accelerate their search for alternate sources of energy.

Ferrell tops list of overpaid actors

Hollywood -- Comic actor Will Ferrell has topped Forbes magazine's list of Hollywood's Most Overpaid Actors for a second consecutive year.

The roster was compiled based on a comparison of how much stars were paid for their movies compared to what the projects earned at the box office, the magazine said Friday.

According to the list, for every dollar Ferrell was paid, his movies made an average of $3.35 in ticket sales.

Eddie Murphy's films made $4.45 for every $1 he was paid; Denzel Washington's $5.10; Seth Rogen's $6.75; Tom Cruise's $7.20; Drew Barrymore's $7.45; Matt Damon's $8.30; Vince Vaughn's $8.35; Adam Sandler's $8.45 and Jim Carey's $8.60, Forbes said.

Forbes list shows billionaires poorer

New York -- The global economy was so bad the past year there are 332 fewer billionaires in the world and those who are left are 23 percent poorer, Forbes magazine says.

They're still pretty wealth, though. Their average net worth is $3 billion and their collective worth is $2.4 trillion.

A year ago there were 1,125 billionaires. Now there are 793 -- a 30 percent drop, the business magazine reported Wednesday. It is the first time in six years there has had a net loss in the number of billionaires.

Forbes notes 373 names are gone from this year's list of the richest rich, with 355 the result of financial reversals and 18 who died. Another 38 names on this year's list are newcomers and another three are back on after rebounding.

Who's the richest of the rich? Bill Gates lost $18 billion but still reclaimed the top spot from his buddy, Warren Buffet, who fell to No. 2 after losing $25 billion, Forbes estimates.
