Flo Rida to perform at Six Flags

Bowie -- Rapper Flo Rida has agreed to perform at Six Flags America as part of the Maryland amusement park's Starburst Summer Concert Series, organizers said.

The "Low" singer is slated to headline the final installment in the series Aug. 12 at the Gotham Arena.

The concert is free with Play Pass or park admission, Six Flags said.

Stars booked for Miss Universe pageant

New York -- Flo Rida, Heidi Montag, David Guetta and Kelly Rowland have agreed to perform during the 2009 Miss Universe competition in the Bahamas.

Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, made the announcement Thursday.

Billy Bush, co-anchor of "Access Hollywood," and Claudia Jordan of "Celebrity Apprentice" and "Deal or No Deal" will serve as co-hosts of the pageant live from Atlantis, Paradise Island Aug. 23.

The competition is slated to air on NBC and Telemundo.

Venezuelan native Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor at the conclusion of the 2009 Miss Universe telecast.

'Round' is No. 1 on U.S. record chart

Los Angeles -- Flo Rida's "Right Round" is No. 1 on the U.S. record chart this week, Billboard.com reported Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 is "Dead and Gone" by T.I. featuring Justin Timberlake, followed by Eminem's "Crack a Bottle" featuring 50 Cent and Dr. Dre at No. 3, Kanye West's "Heartless" at No. 4 and Lady GaGa's "Just Dance" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are All-American Rejects' "Gives You Hell" at No. 6, Taylor Swift's "Love Story" at No. 7, Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" at No. 8, Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" at No. 9 and Lady GaGa's "Poker Face" at No. 10.
