MLS: FC Dalas 2, Colorado 2 (tie)

Frisco, Texas -- Jeff Larentowicz's second goal of the game Saturday salvaged a 2-2 tie for Colorado Rapids in a Major League Soccer match with FC Dallas.

Larentowicz gave Colorado the early lead in the 13th minute off an assist from Omar Cummings. Milton Rodriguez scored his fifth goal of the season unassisted in the 27th minute and teammate David Ferreira put Dallas up 2-1 with his eighth goal 10 minutes later with assists from Marvin Chavez and Jair Benitez.

Larentowicz then added his second score -- his fourth this season -- 6 minutes after halftime off a Jamie Smith assist.

MLS: FC Dallas 1, Chivas USA 0

Frisco, Texas -- Brek Shea headed home a goal in the 71st minute Saturday and FC Dallas edged Chivas USA 1-0.

Shea's fifth goal of the season came when he got his head on a cross from Jair Benitez and popped the ball past Chivas goalkeeper Zach Thornton inside the far post.

Goalkeeper Kevin Hartman helped Dallas (9-2-9) extend its unbeaten streak to 11 games with a pair of key saves, including a stop on a right-footed shot from Dario Delgado.

Chivas fell to 5-11-4 with the loss and remained mired at the bottom of the Western Conference standings with just two wins in its last 13 games.

MLS: Real Salt Lake 2, New York 0

Sandy, Utah, Oct. 15: Andy Williams broke a tie in the 80th minute Wednesday and Real Salt Lake improved its playoff chances by downing New York 2-0.

Salt Lake (10-11-7) moved past Toronto, D.C. United and FC Dallas with the victory and its 37 points leaves it just one point behind New England for the final MLS post-season berth.

New York, owner of the worst record in the league, has won just four times in 29 games.

MLS: FC Dallas 2, Columbus 1

Frisco, Texas June 20: Second-half goals by Eric Avila and Kenny Cooper led FC Dallas to a 2-1 Major League Soccer victory over Columbus Saturday.

FC Dallas (3-7-4) won for just the first time in its last four games, while handing the Crew (4-3-7) its first-loss in 10 matches.

Columbus took a 1-0 lead in the first half when Eric Brunner's header -- off a corner kick by Guillermo Barros Schelotto -- glanced off Dallas defender Pablo Ricchetti and into the net for an own goal.

Avila scored on a 20-yard shot in the 80th minute and Cooper got the decisive goal on a penalty kick in the 87th minute. Cooper has seven goals for the season.
