Valparaiso, Ind. -- E'Twaun Moore led a parade of four Purdue starters in double figures Tuesday, scoring 23 points in the 18th-ranked Boilermakers' 76-58 win over Valparaiso.
Moore went 8-of-15 from the field and grabbed six rebounds, while Kelsey Barlow and JaJuan Johnson added 13 each and Lewis Jackson chipped in with 11 for Purdue (8-1).
The Boilermakers broke open a one-point game with a 16-4 second-half run ignited by Moore's 3-pointer, going on to post a 49-38 lead with 12:39 remaining.
Purdue shot 51.9 percent from the field and Johnson grabbed eight rebounds in the win.
Brandon Wood pumped in 20 points, connecting on four 3-pointers for the Crusaders (6-3).

WestLafayette -- E'Twaun Moore hit a 3-pointer during an 11-point, second-half run Saturday and finished with 23 points, leading No. 18 Purdue past Alabama 66-47.
Five of Moore's eight field goals came from 3-point range, helping the Boilermakers improve to 7-1. JaJuan Johnson added 17 points for Purdue, which hit only 39 percent of its shots from the field but forced 17 turnovers.
Purdue had a 45-34 advantage when it embarked on its surge that blew open the game.
Tony Mitchell scored 14 points for Alabama (4-4). The Crimson Tide attempted nine 3-pointers and missed all of them.

Hoffman Estates, Ill. -- Purdue's E'Twaun Moore scored 31 points Friday and the No. 8 Boilermakers fought off an upset bid to pull away from Southern Illinois 79-60.
The game was part of the Chicago Invitational Challenge.
Southern Illinois had a three-point lead late in the first half before the Boilermakers closed the period on a 13-5 run. Moore took charge in the second half and finished with 10 field goals in 18 attempts.
JaJuan Johnson added 18 points for Purdue, which is unbeaten in five games.
The Salukis (2-3) were paced by Justin Bocot's 17 points. Southern Illinois turned the ball over 25 times.

West Lafayette, Ind. -- JaJuan Johnson pumped in 21 points Tuesday in eighth-ranked Purdue's 87-65 victory over Austin Peay in a 2010 Chicago Invitational Challenge game.
Johnson grabbed 11 rebounds and E'Twaun Moore added 17 points, collected six caroms and made four steals for the Boilermakers (4-0).
Ryne Smith chipped in with 11 points and D.J. Byrd contributed 10 for the victors, who outscored Austin Peay 9-2 to start the second half, forging a 15-point lead.
The Governors (2-3) were led by Tyshawn Edmondson with 16 points while John Fraley put in 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the loss.

West Lafayette, Ind. -- E'Twaun Moore scored 19 points Wednesday and No. 9 Purdue rode a massive first half to a 103-48 crushing of Alcorn State.
The Boilermakers held the Braves to just five points over the final 11:30 of the opening period and took a 59-17 lead at the break. Purdue won its 20th straight game against non-conference opponents.
Purdue forced 28 turnovers and outrebounded Alcorn State by 24 in running its record to 2-0. The Braves are winless in three games.
John Hart added 16 points for Purdue and both Sandi Marcius and JaJuan Johnson had 12.
Kendrick McDonald was the only player in double figures for Alcorn State with 13.

West lafayette, Ind. -- E'Twaun Moore collected 16 points and No. 8 Purdue went 13-of-28 from 3-point territory Sunday in its 76-40 win over Howard.
D.J. Byrd and John Hart each connected on four 3-pointers and ended with 12 points in the season-opening victory for Purdue.
JaJuan Johnson chipped in with 10 points and 12 rebounds as the Boilermakers won without forward Robbie Hummel, who will miss the entire season after suffering a torn knee ligament in October.
Howard (1-1) got 10 points and nine rebounds from Alphonso Leary.

Inadianapolis -- E'Twaun Moore and JaJuan Johnson combined to score 50 points Friday, rallying No. 5 Purdue to a 69-61 decision over Northwestern in the Big Ten quarterfinals.
The Boilermakers scored the game's last seven points to fight off Northwestern and set up a semifinal meeting with either Minnesota or Michigan State.
Purdue won for the 13th time in 14 games, coming back from a four-point halftime deficit despite making just 36 percent of its shots from the field.
Moore scored 26 points and Johnson had seven rebounds to go with his 24 points.
Only five other Purdue players scored and none had more than five points.

West Lafayette, Ind. -- E'Twaun Moore led the way with 21 points Wednesday and No. 6 Purdue coasted to a 74-55 decision over Indiana.
The Hoosiers have lost 11 straight games.
Purdue (25-4, 13-4 Big Ten) won for the 11th time in 12 outings and recorded its first victory since losing Robbie Hummel for the season. Hummel was averaging 15 points a game and holds the Purdue record for most consecutive successful free throws with 35.
The Boilermakers held a 38-25 halftime lead and easily disposed of Indiana in the second period. Purdue went to the foul 31 times to just five for the Hoosiers.
Chris Kramer added 18 points and JaJuan Johnson had 14 points and seven rebounds for Purdue.

East Lansing, Mich. -- E'Twaun Moore scored 25 points and JaJuan Johnson added 19 Tuesday to propel No. 6 Purdue to a 76-64 victory over No. 10 Michigan State.
Robbie Hummel netted 15 points for the Boilermakers (20-3, 8-3 Big Ten), who used the win to move within a half-game of surging Illinois and slumping Michigan State at the top of the Big Ten standings.
The Spartans (19-6, 9-3) got 21 points from Chris Allen, while Kalin Lucas returned from an ankle sprain to add 12 points.
Purdue used a 13-0 run midway through the first half to seal the win. A jumper by Johnson ignited the spurt, tying the score at 17, and his slam dunk finished the run with about 7 minutes left in the half.

West Lafaeyette, Ind. -- E'Twaun Moore's jump shot with 29 seconds left Thursday put Purdue in front for good and the 12th-ranked Boilermakers defeated No. 16 Wisconsin 60-57.
Moore scored 20 points in helping Purdue win its third straight game.
Wisconsin rallied from an eight-point deficit with 7 minutes to play and took a 57-56 lead on a 3-pointer by Keaton Nankivil with 41 seconds remaining.
Moore than made his floating jumper that put Purdue back in front. Trevon Hughes missed a two 3-point tries for the Badgers inside the 10-second mark and JaJuan Johnson grabbed the rebound for the Boilermakers with 4 seconds remaining.
Johnson hit two free throws to account for the final score and Wisconsin turned the ball over attempting to inbound it.

St. Thomas, Virgin Islands -- E'Twaun Moore helped Purdue break open a close game in the second half Friday and the No. 7 Boilermakers pulled out a 74-63 win over South Dakota State.
Moore made 10-of-18 shots from the field and scored 22 points in what was Purdue's second win to start the season. The Jackrabbits fell to 2-1.
The Boilermakers had just a two-point lead at halftime before moving out to a 16-point advantage with 6 minutes to go.
Robbie Hummel added 14 points for Purdue, which made only 2-of-14 from 3-point range.
Purdue, however, held South Dakota State to 17 field goals and forced the Jackrabbits into 18 turnovers.
Clint Sargent led South Dakota State with 16 points.
