Now Microsoft is viewing bird’s eye on gaming and music systems.
Microsoft, one of the most popular multinational computing operation company in the world has unveiled a well restored and of music service, called Xbox Music. It looks to better compete against the likes of “Apple's iTunes”, “Pandora”, and “Spotify” and now modifying like Sony’s Play Stations and other gaming -music-mobile devices.
Though there is an off path of advancement and huge business loss by Sony, but its symmetrical products advanced by Microsoft is looking to take place the Sony’s position in global gaming and music market as Microsoft unveiled the service as part of its press conference at the E3 gaming event.
Microsoft said the service will include 30 million tracks available on the Xbox, as well as Windows 8 devices such as PCs and tablets.
The announcement made by Microsoft is part of the company’s effort to turn the console into the entertainment nucleus of the home. Its aim to make the gaming and musical devices in every metropolitan homes. It also likely signals the death of its Zune Music service, with the company all but completely abandoning the music player.
It further enables to give the music labels another high-profile distribution channel, the Xbox music already comes with a large installed base of users.
The service is also expected to work with phones, as Sony once took a huge market in providing all in one entertainment hub at home in gaming and music device.
