New York -- Screen Media Films says it has acquired "Stonerville," the final movie of late Canadian actor Leslie Nielsen.
Co-starring Pauly Shore, Patrick Cavanaugh and Phil Morrishe, the film is to be released Jan. 11 on DVD, the company announced Thursday.
It tells the story of comedian and self-proclaimed "King of YouTube" Slam Slamsky, who wants to make it big in mainstream advertising, even though his sense of humor and frequent pot use are not exactly in sync with the stuffy suits he meets, Screen Media said in a synopsis.

Los Angeles -- The animated adventure "Toy Story 3" is the top-selling and renting DVD in the United States, Rentrak reported Thursday.
Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD sales list for the week ending Nov. 7 is "How to Train Your Dragon," followed by "The Pacific" at No. 3, "Sex and the City 2" at No. 4 and "Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tales" at No. 5.
Rounding out the top tier are "The Karate Kid" at No. 6, "Predators" at No. 7, "Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue" at No. 8, "Toy Story 2" at No. 9 and "Toy Story" at No. 10.
The No. 2 rental for the week ending Nov. 6 is "Predators."

Hollywood -- A DVD featuring rare footage of U.S. singer Selena performing before she was killed by an employee in 1995 is set for release, Capitol Latin/EMI said Monday.
"Selena: Performances" is scheduled to go on sale Nov. 22.
"Fifteen years after her tragic and untimely death at the age of 23, Selena's musical legacy will be commemorated by Capitol Latin/EMI this Thanksgiving, in partnership with her family's company, Q-Productions," the record label said in a news release Monday. "Featuring nine previously unreleased performances in 5.1 and DTS Surround Sound, plus interview clips from appearances 'The Queen of Tex Mex' made on 'The Johnny Canales Show' in 1993 and 1994, the new DVD spotlights Selena's huge musical talents and superstar charisma."

New York -- A concert film shot during U.S. pop star Beyonce's "I Am... World Tour" is being released on DVD this month, Music World/Columbia Records has announced.
The concert film will be sold exclusively at Walmart Nov. 26, but a deluxe DVD/CD edition will be made available at most retail outlets Nov. 30.
ABC Television is to premiere the broadcast version of Beyonce's "I Am... World Tour" during the artist's second consecutive prime time Thanksgiving special for the network Nov. 25.

Rounding out the top tier are "Kick-Ass" at No. 6, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" at No. 7, "Clash of the Titans" at No. 8, "One Tree Hill: Complete Seventh Season" at No. 9 and "Letters to God" at No. 10.
