Detroit -- Owners of Michigan bowling alleys say the 6-week-old ban on smoking has hurt business at the bar.

"Bowling, smoking and drinking go together," Nancy McClain, owner of Belmar Lanes in Lincoln Park, told the Detroit Free Press.

In the good old days a few weeks ago, bowlers would hang out in the bar for a drink and a cigarette once they were finished playing, owners like McClain said. But they remain optimistic, predicting more families will start showing up soon because of the absence of second-hand smoke.

Fisher's 'Drinking' show headed to HBO

New York -- HBO says it is working on a documentary blending archival footage with U.S. actress and author Carrie Fisher's one-woman show "Wishful Drinking."

The Hollywood Reporter said the film will also feature interviews with Fisher's friends and family.

Best known for her iconic portrayal of Princess Leia in the original "Star Wars" movies, the 56-year-old actress is the daughter of screen star Debbie Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher.

"Wishful Drinking" chronicles her career highs and lows, as well as her battle with drugs and alcohol, and experiences growing up in a high-profile family, which included stepmother Elizabeth Taylor.
