Jennifer Grey to have back surgery

Los Angeles -- U.S. actress Jennifer Grey says she will soon undergo surgery to repair a disc she ruptured in her back while competing on TV's "Dancing with the Stars."

Grey, 50, won the show's coveted mirror ball trophy last week. She is best known for her work in the films "Dirty Dancing" and "Red Dawn."

"It's just going be like a little surgery where they take out the ruptured disc thing, and you know, it won't be a big deal," she told "Access Hollywood." "Compared to the other surgeries I had on my neck, my doctor says it won't be a big deal. I'll be home that night." said Grey previously had operations to help relieve neck pain that resulted from a 1987 car accident. She also had her thyroid removed after she was diagnosed with cancer.

Sarah Palin's daughter, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Wednesday.

Police said Cowan demanded his pistols, then found a shotgun and some rounds when his wife did not produce the pistols, which had been hidden by his daughter due to safety concerns. Cowan's wife fled the home after he shot the TV.
