Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) announced the release of HD video conferencing tools for desktops, notebooks and conference rooms, heating up the competition with Cisco(Nasdaq: CSCO) and Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT).




Taylor Swift to release third CD

Nashville -- U.S country music star Taylor Swift says her third studio album "Speak Now" is set for release this fall on the Big Machine Records label.

The CD is to drop Oct. 25, Swift announced Tuesday during a Web chat with her fans.

The album will contain 14 tracks, all written solely Swift.

Swift co-produced the project with Nathan Chapman, and "Mine," the first single from the new record, is to be released Aug. 16, Big Machine said.
