Los Angeles -- Michael Jackson's personal physician is to be charged Monday in connection with the singer's June 2009 death, Los Angeles prosecutors said Friday.
Media reports this week speculated when Dr. Conrad Murray might be formally charged with involuntary manslaughter. Although prosecutors have announced Murray would be charged Monday, People.com said they did not specify what charges he will face.
Also unclear is whether Murray will be allowed to surrender at a police station for booking and post bail, or if he will be arrested and transported to a courthouse in handcuffs, People.com said.
Murray's attorney said Thursday Murray would plead innocent if charged with involuntary manslaughter as expected.
