Los Angeles -- Former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean started to walk out on CNN's "Larry King Live" after telling King he was being "inappropriate" but did not leave.
Prejean, who is promoting a book about her experience losing the Miss California USA crown, told King she takes full responsibility for the sex video that surfaced last week, leading her to settle a lawsuit against pageant officials. However, when King asked her why she settled, she refused to answer, saying terms of the settlement are confidential.
King insisted he was not asking about terms of the settlement but about her reasons for settling instead of fighting for her principles.

Los Angeles -- Ousted Miss California USA Carrie Prejean is suing pageant officials over her dismissal, papers filed in the Superior Court of California show.
Pageant officials said Prejean, 22, was stripped of her title in June because she was uncooperative and failed to live up to the terms of her contract.
However, CNN said Prejean's lawsuit disputes those allegations and accuses pageant officials Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler, as well as publicist Roger Neal, of libel and religious discrimination.
Prejean claims she was dismissed because she is a Christian who is vocal about her belief that marriage should only be between a man and a woman.

Los Angeles -- Carrie Prejean's attorney said he will sue the Miss California USA pageant's executive director if he doesn't retract remarks he made about Prejean.
Pageant boss Keith Lewis said Prejean was stripped of her Miss California title last week because she was uncooperative, violated her contract and missed some public appearances.
Lewis told CNN's Larry King it was clear Prejean didn't want input from pageant officials and "she was not interested in upholding the title or the responsibilities" that accompany it.
Prejean's lawyer Charles LiMandri sent a letter Thursday to Lewis' attorney accusing Lewis of sullying Prejean's reputation and causing her "severe emotional distress," CNN said.

However, pageant chief Keith Lewis denied Prejean's claims that the firing was related to the proposed Playboy and "Celebrity" gigs, telling TMZ he was only passing the offers on to Prejean, not trying to persuade her to take them.
