'Breaking Dawn' will be made into 2 movies

Los Angeles -- Hollywood's Summit Entertainment says it plans to make two movies out of "Breaking Dawn," the final novel in Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" series.

Variety.com said Thursday the first part of "Breaking Dawn" is to open Nov. 18, 2011, while the release date of the second film has not yet been announced.

Bill Condon will direct both movies, the report said.

No other details were made available about the final installments in the vampire romance franchise, other than that production is to start in the fall, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.

"Eclipse," the third movie in the series, is to open June 30.

Pattison confirms coming of the fourth ‘Twilight’ movie

Cannes, May 20: Robert Pattison of the ‘Twilight’ fame confirmed that there will be a fourth movie in the famous vampire series, while he was rubbing shoulders with the industry bigwigs at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.
