MLB: Pittsburgh 8, Chi. Cubs 2 (2nd Game)

Chicago, Sept. 30: Ryan Doumit drove in four runs and scored three times Wednesday, leading Pittsburgh to an 8-2 win over the Chicago Cubs and a sweep of a doubleheader.

The Pirates won the opener 4-0 and have captured four of their last five games. If they can win two of their final four, they will avoid a 100-loss season.

Doumit doubled home two runs in the third, then scored on a single by Brandon Moss. Doumit had an RBI single in the seventh and came around to score on a fielder's choice grounder from Moss.

The Pittsburgh catcher added a solo homer in the ninth.
