New York -- Former U.S. President Bill Clinton says raising his daughter, Chelsea, was the most important job he and his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, ever had.
Bill Clinton made the remarks about his adult daughter on Monday's edition of "Late Show with David Letterman" on CBS.
"Tremendous responsibility being a parent -- being a parent and having people at the highest profile of public figures and awareness, that must be nearly impossible. Everybody points to what a great job you and your wife did with your daughter. How do you keep that in proper perspective, proper balance?" Letterman asked Clinton.

New York, Sept. 22: Former U.S. President Bill Clinton says he's gotten pretty good at doing what his wife, Hillary, used to do as a "non-governmental person."
The former president was a guest Tuesday on CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman." Letterman asked Clinton if he is able to help his wife in her duties as U.S. Secretary of State.
"Well, first of all, I'm immensely proud of her," Clinton said -- recalling the former first lady's campaign for the 2008 presidential nomination -- "and I'm proud of how she did that."

Washington, June 21: "Hunger Exists Here." So proclaims a huge 5 feet x 16 feet Xavier Cortada mural hanging on the wall of a grey building in the heart of this capital city of the world's most powerful and richest nation.
The mural does not depict the hungry and homeless in some far off developing country, but some 35 million people across America, not just homeless but from working class families too who miss a square meal a day.
Today it hangs in the office of DC Central Kitchen, a non-profit "anti-soup kitchen" that also holds one of America's largest homeless shelters, a drug treatment programme and a health clinic. The kitchen provides culinary training and jobs for formerly homeless people.
