The Beatles' music may soon be available on Apple iTunes

Legendary music of The Beatles could be available through iTunes, world's largest music retailer. Apple is expected to soon announce the finalization of agreement it has reached with the representatives of The Beatles and EMI Group limited.

Jackson, Beatles make great artist list

New York -- Alicia Keys, Ozzy Osbourne, The Beatles and Michael Jackson are to be featured on a four-night special called "100 Greatest Artists of All Time," VH1 said.

The list was determined by a poll of well-known music artists and industry experts.

McCartney feels 'Blessed' to have known Lennon

Sir Paul McCartney rarely remembers his disagreements with late Beatles bandmate John Lennon - he just feels blessed to have known the murdered musician.

Beatles fans get second chance to score disc set

Music bosses have assured anxious Beatles fans in the U.S. they will have a second chance to own a limited copy of The Beatles In Mono - after the highly-anticipated disc set sold out online.

Only 10,000 copies of the 13-CD boxed set were allotted for the U.S. market and fans were left scrambling when the discs sold out at most U.S. web retailers - before the store release date of 9 September (09).

However, EMI bosses have confirmed production has been extended and retailers will receive additional copies.

McCartney glad Beatles didn't clim everest

Paul McCartney is relieved the Beatles decided against naming their final album after a studio engineer's favourite cigarette brand.

The group initially agreed on the title Everest after spotting one of Geoff Emerick's cigarette packets during a brainstorming session - but McCartney still thinks that would have been a terrible idea.

He tells Mojo magazine, "It wasn't that great a title. His ciggies (cigarettes) were just lying on the control room desk, and we went, 'What about that? Everest! Big mountain on the front - that'd be good'.

"But then we went off the idea and I just said, 'You know what? We could call it Abbey Road. And it'd be really easy to step outside onto the crossing (for the cover picture)."
