Ashley Jensen gives birth to a son

Los Angeles -- Ashley Jensen's publicist has confirmed the Scottish television actress gave birth to a son she named Francis Jonathan Beesley.

The 40-year-old actress' representative confirmed the Oct. 20 birth to People.com Wednesday.

The child, known as Frankie Jack, is Jensen's first with her husband, stage actor Terence Beesley. The couple married in 2007 after seven years of dating.

People.com said mother and son are home from the hospital and doing well.

Jensen is best known for her work on TV's "Accidentally on Purpose" and "Extras."

CBS orders more 'Accidentally'

Los Angeles -- CBS said Tuesday it has ordered five additional episodes of its freshman U.S. comedy series "Accidentally on Purpose."

The season will now include 18 episodes, the network said in a news release.

"Accidentally on Purpose" stars Jenna Elfman, Ashley Jensen, Jon Foster, Grant Show, Lennon Parham and Nicolas Wright. The ensemble comedy focuses on a successful, single journalist who accidentally gets pregnant by a much younger man.

'Extras' star Ashley Jensen pregnant

London -- Ashley Jensen's agent has confirmed the British actress is pregnant with her first child.

Jensen, 39, is best known for her work on TV's "Extras" and "Ugly Betty."

The BBC reported she is due to give birth this fall to her first child with her husband of two years, actor-writer Terence Beesley.
