New York -- Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis reunited for a Vanity Fair photo layout to observe the 20th anniversary of their film, "Thelma & Louise," the New York Post said.
The actresses were flown by private jet from a New Jersey airport to shoot the spread at a mansion in Miami last week, the newspaper said.
The photos they took there are expected to appear in an issue of the magazine early next year in connection with the 1991 movie's anniversary, the Post said.
The film, about two friends whose liberating road trip turns into a crime spree, co-stars Harvey Keitel and Brad Pitt.
Sarandon and Davis were both nominated for the best actress Oscar and Ridley Scott was nominated best director. Callie Khouri won the Oscar for best original screenplay.

New York -- Artist and musician Yoko Ono took to Twitter Wednesday to mark the 30th anniversary of her husband John Lennon's slaying in New York.
The peace activist, rock 'n' roll icon and former member of the Beatles was 40 when he was gunned down outside his Manhattan apartment building by a deranged fan who remains in prison.
"Today, on this painful anniversary, please join me in remembering John with deep love and respect," The Hollywood Reporter said Ono tweeted Wednesday. "Despite his short, 40 years of life, he gave so much to the world. The world was blessed with fortune to have known John. ... We continue to learn so much from him even today. John, I love you. 2010/12/8 Yoko Ono Lennon."

Louisville, Ky. -- The Louisville Orchestra has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy just weeks before its 75th anniversary, officials in Kentucky said.
The orchestra also asked the court for permission to break its collective bargaining agreement with players in the Louisville Federation of Musicians Local 11-637, The Louisville (Ky.) Courier-Journal reported.
The orchestra's players have been paid through Dec. 15, and are expected to perform all scheduled performances until then, orchestra chief executive officer Robert Birman said.

The event is to take place Nov. 29.

Detroit -- Stevens T. Mason, the first governor of Michigan, was reburied in Detroit on the 199th anniversary of his birthday.
Michigan Historical Center Director Sandra Clark said the burial, in the city's Capitol Park, marks the fourth time Mason has been buried since his death in 1843 at the age of 31, the Detroit Free Press reported Friday.
Michigan State Capitol historian Kerry Chartkoff said Mason was first appointed acting governor of Michigan territory when he was 19, and he was elected the state's first governor in 1835 when he was 24, making him the youngest governor in the history of the nation.
Robert Mason, 42, the official's great-great-great-grandnephew, was present during the burial ceremony.

Southampton, England -- The British charter company behind a 100-year anniversary cruise following the Titanic's path said cabins are nearly sold out for the April 2012 trip.
Miles Morgan Travel said passengers from 26 countries, including relatives of 30 victims of the Titanic sinking, will depart April 8, 2012, from Southampton, England, on the Balmoral from Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, and memorial services will be held at the site of the sinking between 11:40 p.m. April 14, the time the Titanic hit the iceberg, and 2:20 a.m. April 15, when the ship went down, The Daily Telegraph reported Friday.
The ship will also stop in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where passengers will visit the graves of 121 victims of the sinking, before completing the journey in New York.

New York -- Crude oil prices in New York held above $77 per barrel Tuesday as stocks in Asia and Europe were mixed.
On the 50th anniversary of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, prices are right where OPEC has stated publicly is a reasonable price for now -- between $70 and $80 per barrel.
Ahead of planned celebrations, OPEC President Abdulla Al Badri said Monday the 12-member oil-producing cartel was seeking stability in pricing.

Vienna -- The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries expects to seek price stability for oil as usual, OPEC President Abdulla Al Badri said Monday.
Al-Badri made the statement in a press release the day before OPEC, which formed in 1960, begins its 50th anniversary celebrations, KUNA, the Kuwait News Agency, reported.
Currently, OPEC countries are responsible for 40 percent of the world's oil production. The cartel began with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran and Venezuela and now includes 12 members, having added Qatar, Libya, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Nigeria, Ecuador and Angola to its ranks.

West Mifflin, Pa. -- A 78-year-old man marked the 90th anniversary of a Pennsylvania roller coaster with 90 rides in a single day -- and his 4,000th ride overall on the old coaster.
Vic Kleman, of Knoxville, Pa., said he rode the Jack Rabbit at West Mifflin's Kennywood amusement park for about 5 hours Sunday.
Kleman has ridden the Jack Rabbit 4,000 times over the years, KDKA-TV, Pittsburgh, reported.
Kleman, who took his first ride on the Jack Rabbit in 1959, said he generally rides the coaster about 20 times each time he visits the area.
"It's fun. I'm not trying to break any records or anything," Kleman said. "It's just fun."
Kennywood park officials presented Kleman with a certificate heralding his 4,000 trips on the Jack Rabbit.

Memphis -- An estimated 15,000 fans gathered outside the gates of Graceland in Memphis to mark the 33rd anniversary of rock 'n' roll icon Elvis Presley's death.
Presley, who was said to have long abused prescription drugs, died of a heart attack at his estate on Aug. 16, 1977. He was 42.
The Memphis Commercial Appeal said his admirers carried candles to a flower-strewn grave Sunday night.
They braved temperatures that reached 118 degrees on the "heat index," an Elvis fan said.
