Worthington Industries announces quarterly dividend

Worthington Industries, a company that processes steel for use in the automotive, construction, hardware, aerospace and many other industries, has announced quarterly dividend of $0.10 per share.

The dividend will be paid on June 29, 2010, to shareholders of record June 15, 2010.

The Columbus, Ohio based company will be paying dividend for the 170th quarter consecutively, since it became a public company in 1968.

Thales, Liebherr to develop technologies for green aircraft

Paris, June 19-- French aerospace majors Thales and Liebherr have come together to develop technologies for new generation green aircraft, the companies announced Friday at the Paris Air Show.

"Thales and Liebherr, as tier one suppliers, aim to support airframe designers with power optimized aircraft (POA) architectures by delivering innovative solutions for the technology development of greener aircraft," a joint statement issued here said.

The POA concept aims at reducing the consumption of non-propulsive power on board civil aircraft.
