Akerman replacing Lohan in Lovelace film

Los Angele -- U.S. director Matthew Wilder said on Facebook Monday Malin Akerman is replacing Lindsay Lohan in his Linda Lovelace bio-picture "Inferno."

"We are so honored to have Malin and know that she will kill it," UsMagazine.com quoted Wilder as writing on Facebook.

Wilder said during the weekend Lohan, who has been battling addiction and legal problems for several years, is no longer attached to play the famous porn star in his upcoming film.

"We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support," Wilder said at the time. "Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her -- and some other issues -- have made it impossible for us to go forward."

After she leaves rehab in early January, she is to undergo random testing until her Feb. 25 court date, the Times said.

Los Angeles -- Actress Lindsay Lohan was released Tuesday from her court-ordered drug rehabilitation program at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, RadarOnline reported.

Lohan signed her discharge papers from the facility on her 22nd day of treatment and left the building by the back door, where a limousine was waiting, the Web site said.

The 24-year-old star of "Freaky Friday" and "Mean Girls" spent nearly two weeks this summer in a solitary jail cell for violating probation in a 2007 driving-under-the-influence case. Her 90-day sentence was cut short because of good behavior and jail overcrowding.
