Oakbrook Terrace, Ill. -- Kiosk operator Redbox sued 20th Century Fox, challenging the Century City, Calif., studio's new rule that Redbox wait 30 days after Fox DVDs are released.

Los Angeles, August 12:Redbox, a DVD rental company which operates DVD rental kiosks in more than 15,000 locations across the U.S., has filed a lawsuit against News Corp's 20th Century Fox over movie studio’s newly proposed distribution terms.

Los Angeles -- "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" pushed 20th Century Fox past $1 billion in 2009 foreign box office revenue, the studio said.
