Google takes on Apple with Nexus devices in a blockbuster season

On Monday, Google unveiled its much awaited mammoth 10 inch tablet Nexus 10 and Nexus 4 smartphone. Apple Inc. is likely to face tremendous heat with Google going all-out with a slew of new devices that are better than, or at par to say the least, with the market leader’s devices feature-to-feature.

Google Nexus 10 Tablet
This colossal device measures 10 inches, just like the Apple iPad. At 2,560 X 1,600 displaying 299 pixels per inch (ppi), its resolution is pretty impressive. In fact, it is much better than that of next generation iPad launching later this week, which has 2,048x1,536-pixel-resolution and 264ppi screen.

Manufactured by Samsung Electronics, Nexus 10 sports a 1.7GHz dual-core Exynos 5250 processor, Bluetooth 4.0, 2GB of RAM, micro USB, micro HDMI, 5-megapixel back camera with LED flash and 1.9 megapixel front camera. Nexus 10 gets shipped with the latest Android 4.2 version that makes it a hot favorite for Android lovers.

Google expanded its gamut of hardware devices with the Nexus 4 smartphone, developed in partnership with LG. Armed with a slew of interesting features, it is a device to watch out for.

You are definitely going to like features like the updated Android 4.2, wireless charging, Photo Sphere to create 360 degree images and Miracast to aid wireless streaming with high-definition television sets. Powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, it sports a 1280-by-768 pixel resolution screen and 1.3-megapixel front camera and a 8-megapixel rear camera.

This is going to be one hell of a season with a myriad of companies pouring in smartphones, tablets, console games and other cool stuff. No matter how the tussle between tech behemoths like Google, Apple and Microsoft and others pans out, customers are up for a mega technology season this year!
