Here is a device that no avid gamer can afford to miss: Nintendo Wii U which is releasing soon.
Despite the brouhaha over smartphones and tablets giving gaming consoles a run for their money and gaming console companies locked in 3-way battle, Nintendo Wii U remains a device to own.
Some of the reasons are detailed here:
Powered by a custom AMD Radeon GPU and equipped with 2GB RAM, Nintendo Wii U is way better than its competitors namely Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation, which use comparatively inferior processors. The computational power is up to four times than that of Xbox 360.
Enviable line-up of games
The Wii U is scheduled to hit the markets on 18 November. As many as 23 games will debut on the same day and another 51 will be released during the period till March 2013. A number of them will be exclusively for this splendid console while many more will be tweaked for it.
For instance, the much awaited New Super Mario Bros. U and ZombiU will be exclusive for the device. Further, games like Epic Mickey 2 are set to offer Wii U specific features despite being released for all platforms.
Such exclusive releases are unlikely in the case of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Plenty of third party titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Assassin’s Creed III and Darksiders II too are lined up for Wii U, which will enhance its appeal for sure.
TV on console
Wii U takes the lead in delivering TV content right here on your console. This feature puts it light years ahead of Xbox and PlayStation. On top of that, it is backwards compatible, meaning all of your Wii accessories and games will work seamlessly on the new device of yours.
All in all, Nintendo Wii U looks promising enough. The gaming console race just got hotter and Wii U is certainly ahead of its peers!!
