Nissan Evalia, the highly anticipated MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) from the house of the Japanese auto giant, has landed in India among much fanfare.
Priced between Rs. 8.49 lakh and Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), Evalia has been launched in four variants XV, XL, XE+ and XE. The company will start with region-wise launch from Mumbai and Banglore from Wednesday 26 September.
The interiors of this much awaited MPV have been designed to perfection to provide a great user experience. The storage space of 2100 liters is massive by any measure and can be expanded way up to 2900 liters when the middle seats are folded.
Evalia comes loaded with a pretty impressive 1461cc K9K diesel engine having top torque of 200 Nm and top power of 85 PS. It has five speed manual transmission and offers 19.3 kmpl mileage, as per data released by ARAI. It provides a much better fuel efficiency when compared with its competitors like Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo and Maruti Ertiga.
This behemoth can zoom up to 60 km/hr in under 13 seconds, which is pretty impressive. Other primary features of this showcase product from Nissan include front power windows, central locking, ORVMs, push button start, EBD with brake assist, fog lamp, music system and 15 inch alloy wheels.
