Costing just $150, Canon's printer features new chassis shape, designed to ensure it occupies least space.
The ImageClass MF3010 offers user-friendly print, scan and copy features, high-quality black and white printing, and color scanning.
Also it produces ‘Quick First Prints’ in roughly eight seconds.
Well, here’s a novelty – Canon has added to MF3010 a novel ‘I.D. Card Copy’ that allows users to create and keep copies of their identification cards on one-sided document.
However, MF3010’s forte is its swiftness: a healthy MF3010 continuously output pages without taking break.
Operating the display control panel is very easy. The nucleus of control panel is the ‘Single Cartridge System’, which combines the drum, toner and waster toner into a unit, for an effortless maintenance.
Specifications
Canon ImageClass MF3010 measures 14.7 x 10.9 x 10 inches (LBH).
It weighs less than 17 pounds and its thin, and its front loading cassette can handle up to 150 sheets.
The device supports MAC/Windows OS and every needed driver, supplementary tool (Presto Page-Manager and MF Toolbox for easy copy/scan) is available through a single disk in the box.
You will get a sharp monochrome printout with resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi pixels.
Pros
It’s a excellent laser printer offering quick response (no jams and pauses), easy-to-use control panel, and of course it is affordable and quality of prints are above average.
Cons
Watch out! There’s no wireless networking (Wi-Fi), no double-sided printings, and no concept of auto-document feed.
It can only be connected to a single host PC using the USB port.
Verdict
The Canon ImageClass MF3010 laser printer demands nothing. It will hardly waste your time, money and space. It is best for students and small businesses, where budget comes first.
