While crude oil supplies in the United States remain above average, officials from oil exporting countries have recently remarked that output is likely to remain at current levels or decline. Exxon Mobile Corp.'s announcement Friday that it had been able to freeze $12 billion of Petroleos de Venezuela's assets has also caused concerns over supply.

On Monday, prices of crude were at $91.81 per barrel, down 14 cents in early morning trading.

Heating oil prices were at $2.5558 per gallon, down 0.07 cents.

Reformulated gasoline blendstock was down 0.51 cents to $2.3521 per gallon.

Natural gas prices climbed 2.15 cents cents to $8.516 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the price of unleaded gasoline dropped to $2.953 per gallon, down from Sunday's national average price of $2.957 per gallon, the AAA Fuel Gauge Report said.
