Kouziro to launch 21.5-inch jumbo Android tab

Kouziro is set to launch the world's biggest Android 4.0 tablet dubbed FT103 which will feature a massive 21.5-inch display.

It’s grand news for all tablet lovers out there; a jumbo Android tab featuring a massive 21.5-inch display is just round the corner.

The mega-tablet, dubbed Kouziro FT103, will be running on Android 4.0 and will indeed claim to fame for being one of the biggest gadgets powered by Android 4.0, leaving aside the full-size television segment.

The news has already started creating an echo of surprise and excitement among one and all; however, details of the tablet’s probable specifications are not released yet.

Stunning specifications in prospect
Though the jumbo tablet will feature many off-the-league features, the most fascinating characteristic of the FT103 is that it will be having no battery; and that’s what users are most desperate to see.

The FT103 will also showcase a kickstand that will help users in placing the high-end gadget comfortably on any desk, thereby freeing up users from the burden of placing the heavy laptop on their lap which would have been really tasking otherwise.

The FT103 will feature a fairly balanced package of specs; with 1GHz dual-core processor, built-in memory of 8GB and 1GB of RAM onboard. Though one can argue that the makers could have done better in terms of onboard storage as well as memory, the high-end gadget will unmistakably prove a fine fit for high-speed gaming and other business as well as personal applications.

A mixed package of pros and cons
However, a screen resolution of 1080p and a handy HDMI input can make much of a difference to the sales and popularity of the device as it can be utilized as a smart secondary display for other gadgets.

Other add-ons includes two full-fledged USB 2.0 port, micro SD slots, micro HDMI, stereo speakers, headphone stereo jack, microphone, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi. It will be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will also sport a decent 1.2mp camera.

But by the end of any day, an uninspiring 8GB storage and 1GHz TI OMAP 4428 processor is just not good enough to please many.

Thanks to the massive size of the device, the makers have easily and elegantly incorporated various valuable and eye-catching features like front camera, Ethernet, mobile expansion, etc.

The jumbo tablet, pegged at around ¥34,800 (US$ 437), is expected to be launched in Japan by the end of July.
