Miley Cyrus' mom: Family is stronger after Billy Ray put off divorce

Looks like Cyrus family has successfully managed to mend those achy-breaky hearts. Last week, Miley Cyrus' dad Billy Ray announced his plan to call off his divorce. Now, her mom Tish says their family is much stronger and they really do feel like a family again.

Late last year reports emerged claiming that Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish are heading for splitsville after 17 years of marriage.

In October 2010, he 49-year-old Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce from his wife in a Tennessee court, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakdown of their relationship.

Cyrus took a wise decision
And just last week, Cyrus announced that he has decided to nix proceedings to end his 17-year marriage with wife, Tish.

In an interview with U.S. television series 'The View' last week, he announced his decision to try to patch things up with Tish.

"I've dropped the divorce. I want to put my family back together. Things are the best they've ever been," UsMagazine.com quoted the father of the 'Hannah Montana' star as saying at the time.

Cyrus family back on track
Now, Tish Cyrus has opened up about the subject, saying her bond with husband Billy Ray and the rest of the Cyruses is as good as ever.

In a message on her Facebook page, Tish thanked fans for their support and told the world that their family is back on the right track.

“Big Thanks to all of our family, friends, and fans who have kept us in their thoughts and prayers. I feel so blessed to have so much support from all of you,” she said in the message, posted to her official Facebook page on Friday. “Our family weathered a huge storm and I feel we are stronger than we have ever been! Much love to all of you guys! Your [sic] the BEST.”

Miley's response?
As of Miley's response to the subject, People magazine has cited a source as saying that the Cyrus family "is doing better," but adds that the 18-year-old singer still won't discuss her father.

The source, however, says, "Miley seems happier and more relaxed in the past few days."

"When Tish is having a hard time, Miley spends more time with her," says the source. "Now [that] the divorce is called off, Tish is doing better and Miley is getting her life back."
