Kristen Stewart is taking on more realistic roles after final installment of her hit vampire series. The popular Bella of ‘Twilight’ will don the role of a teen runaway-turned-stripper in her new flick ‘Welcome to the Rileys.’
The actress, who is known to be jarringly discourteous towards the paparazzi, recently sat for an interview with MTV News, where she opened up about the sexuality she flaunts in her latest flick.
Stewart, it seems, really got into the skin of her character, Mallory, in the soon-to-be-released movie. The actress, who is normally dressed very modestly, got so deeply involved playing the teen stripper in ‘Welcome to the Rileys’ that a strip club offered her to take up a job with them.
Flaunting sexuality comes easy to Stewart
Flaunting sexuality was easy in this Jake Scott-directed flick, says the young actress.
Walking around New Orleans wearing the kind of stuff I was wearing literally could be like boom, boom, boom, done. – Kristen Stewart
“Well, I mean, like, doing this movie ... one shocking thing was to find how easy it is [to flaunt your sexuality],” she said. “Like, I went to a strip club with the director and the costume designer and it being an odd grouping of people going into a strip club in the middle of the afternoon, I was, like, straight-up offered a job.”
And the strip club offer is not just it. Since Stewart was required to wear revealing outfits in most part of the film, she got hit on even while just walking around in New Orleans.
“Walking around New Orleans wearing the kind of stuff I was wearing literally could be like boom, boom, boom, done,” said the actress. “But I would never do that.”
Kristen sad about the end of Twilight
Fans can catch Kristen Stewart in her new, sexed-up, role as the movie hits the theatres on Nov. 5. Meanwhile, she turned up in a glamorous outfit for the New York screening of the film on Monday night. Beau Robert Pattinson was not present.
However, they’d soon be catching up with each other on the sets of ‘Breaking Dawn,’ which begins filming any day now.
Stewarts seems disappointed as the ‘Twilight’ series is coming to an end. “It's odd because it feels the same, yet it's different because, you know, we all know that it is over,” she said.
