'Heroes' hottie Ali Larter pregnant with first baby!

Ali and Hayes, who were co-stars in 2007 "National Lampoon's Homo Erectus," have been dating for years before getting engaged in December 2007.

Ali Larter, former star of the hit television series Heroes, is expecting her first child with her writer/actor husband Hayes MacArthur, according to several U.S. tabloid reports, citing a rep for the actress.

The 'Heroes' hottie Ali, 34, who is known for her whipped cream bikini in 'Varsity Blues,' and a Chicago native and actor Hayes tied the knot in last August after almost two years of engagement.

New addition to Ali’s family
Now, after nearly a year of marriage, the happy couple is expecting their first child, report People and UsMagazine.com, citing her rep.

"Ali and Hayes are thrilled to be expecting their first child," her rep told People.

Due on Christmas Day
Ali is reportedly due later this year.

Starting a family has long been on the cards for the actress of films 'Obsessed' and 'Legally Blonde.'

Also, PopEater reports, citing a family friend as telling Star, stated, "Ali is ecstatic. She and Hayes are absolutely over the moon about it. They have wanted a baby for what seems like forever and now their dream is coming true."

The friend adds, "It's going to be even more special because their baby is due on Christmas Day! They don't know what sex it is yet but Ali is definitely planning on finding out - hopefully at her next doctors visit!"

Long-simmering desire fulfilled
Starting a family has long been on the cards for the actress of films 'Obsessed' and 'Legally Blonde.'

Ali, who first met Hayes while working on Adam Rifkin's film 'Homo Erectus,' said in the February 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan, “Since I was 15 years old, all I wanted was to find the guy I was going to marry.”

“[Hayes] showed me the way, and all was right. This is how it’s supposed to be… I’m a hopeless romantic,” she said.

In response to a question to start a family, the actress told Cosmopolitan back in 2007, "I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow," adding that “I look forward to that time when I’m home with babies.”

Ali and Hayes, who were co-stars in 2007 'National Lampoon's Homo Erectus,' have been dating for years before getting engaged in December 2007. Months after her engagement to Hayes, Ali said of her now hubby Hayes that he "brought light to my life. I feel lucky every morning when I wake up and see him."

Ali is due to appear in upcoming flick by Paul W.S. Anderson, 'Resident Evil: Afterlife' that opens on Sept. 10.
