New York -- Crude oil prices fell on the New York Exchange Wednesday amid concerns faltering economies are eroding global demand.

Crude oil was down 34 cents to $34.70 per barrel. Heating oil prices edged 0.0225 cents lower to $1.16 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline slipped 0.0315 cents to $1.0735 per gallon. Natural gas prices rose 0.082 cents to $4.238 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $1.957 Wednesday, down from Tuesday's $1.96 a gallon, AAA said.
