Alabama (11-0) again was No. 1 after its 32-7 rout of SEC foe Mississippi State. The Crimson Tide's total in the complicated BCS ratings system is .9787.
Texas Tech (10-0) was No. 2. Despite not playing Saturday, the Red Raiders have a .9698 total.
The BCS system uses two human polls -- the Harris Interactive and the USA Today -- as well as six computer rankings, with each poll counting one-third toward the overall score.
The average of the computers completes the formula.
Texas (10-1), Florida (9-1), Oklahoma (9-1), Southern California (9-1), Utah (11-0), Penn State (10-1), Boise State (10-0), and Ohio State (9-2) completed the BCS top 10.
Spots 11-25 were filled by Georgia, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Brigham Young, Michigan State, TCU, Ball State, LSU, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Oregon State, North Carolina, Miami-Florida, Oregon and Maryland.
