The right wing score his eighth and ninth goals this season in the second and third periods, respectively.

Center Steve Reinprecht scored in the first period, Rick Nash (power play) and Martin Hanzal (empty net) in the third in the winning effort. Bryzgalov yielded both Columbus goals in the third but the Coyotes easily extended their season-high winning streak to four in a row.

Columbus averted the shutout on third-period goals by left wing Rick Nash (power play) and center Derick Brassard, who assisted on Nash's tally.

Steve Mason was beaten four times on 29 shots in his first loss in goal for the Blue Jackets, whose three-game winning streak ended.

On the power play, Columbus went 1-for-4, while Phoenix failed to score on any of its four man-advantage chances.
