The seven-year veteran, a second-round pick by Denver in the 2002 NFL draft, scored once on 29 carries for 145 yards last Sunday in Washington's 23-17 win at Philadelphia.
Other NFC honors went to Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Wingfield (defense) and New Orleans kick returner Reggie Bush (special teams).
Wingfield made eight tackles, including five for a loss, one sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and his touchdown on a 59-yard return of a blocked field goal was instrumental in the Vikings' 30-27 over New Orleans.
Bush, in his second professional season, became just the 12th player in NFL history with two punt-return touchdowns in a single contest.
He finished with 269 all-purpose yards (176 punt returns, 64 receiving, 29 rushing), and has four punt-return touchdowns, the most in team history.
