New York -- Heavy rains caused by tropical storm Hanna forced the Mets and Philadelphia to postpone their baseball game Saturday at New York's Shea Stadium.
A makeup contest, weather-permitting, will be Sunday afternoon when the top two teams in the National League East Division will try to play a day/night doubleheader.
The likely starters for the first game are Saturday's scheduled starters -- veteran left-hander Jamie Moyer of Philadelphia and Mets' right-hander Pedro Martinez.
Philadelphia's Cole Hamels is to face Mets southpaw Johan Santana in the nightcap.
The Phillies beat the Mets 3-0 in Friday's opener of the three-game series to pull within two games of New York for first place in the division.
