Green Bay, Wis. -- Aaron Rodgers completed 9-of-15 passes for 117 yards with one touchdown and an interception Monday in Green Bay's 20-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Rodgers is the Packers' No. 1 quarterback with Brett Favre having been traded to the New York Jets.
Carson Palmer completed 5-of-9 passes for 33 yards and one touchdown for the Bengals (1-0). Chris Perry collected 42 yards on 11 carries and scored a touchdown.
Cincinnati dominated the second quarter, scoring 17 unanswered points. After Palmer hooked up with Ben Utecht for a 14-yard touchdown, the Bengals grabbed a 14-10 lead on Perry's six-yard TD run and a Shayne Graham 43-yard field goal gave the visitors a 17-10 lead at the half.
Graham kicked a 32-yard field goal to put the Bengals up 20-10 early in the fourth quarter.
