Chicago -- Corn ticked lower on the Chicago Board of Trade Monday but wheat and soybean prices gained as crude oil prices fell slightly in New York.
Corn was off 1 1/4 to off 1 3/4, soybeans were up 28 1/4 to up 28 1/2, wheat was up 28 1/4 to 28 1/2 and oats were unchanged to up 1/4.
The U.S. dollar's rise continued to pressure corn prices Monday as the domestic crop gained on beneficial weather. Wheat rose with corn-wheat spreaders active and estimates for Australia's crop on the upswing. Soybeans rose with spreaders buying meal and selling oil Monday.

Corn: Sep 4.97 1/4, off 1 1/4; Dec 5.17, off 1 1/4; Mar 5.36 3/4, off 1 1/4; May 5.49, off 1 3/4.
Soybeans: Aug 12.15, up 16; Sep 11.89 1/2, up 12 1/2; Nov 11.96, up 15 1/2, Jan 12.13 1/2, up 15 1/4.
Wheat: Sep 7.93 3/4, up 28 1/2; Dec 8.18 1/2, up 28 1/4; Mar 8.43, up 28 1/2; May 8.57 1/2, up 28 1/4.
Oats: Sep 3.56, unchanged; Dec 3.75 1/2, up 1/4; Mar 3.94 1/2, unchanged; May 4.07 1/2, unchanged.
