Enemy front man slices off top of fingerby MT Bureau - August 7, 2008 - 0 comments
Chicago -- Tom Clarke, the lead singer for the U.K. rock band The Enemy, says he sliced off the tip of his finger while playing guitar at the Lollapalooza music festival. Last weekend's gig in Chicago marked the band's first U.S. appearance. Clarke told NME.com the accident was "an occupational hazard." "The doctor looked at it after the set and said I'd have to miss a couple of gigs," he said. "I said I'd miss one, but I'm not missing LA." The BBC said the band canceled a Montreal festival appearance this week but played in Los Angeles as scheduled Wednesday night. A spokesman for the band said Clarke performed with a bandaged hand.
