Heather Matarazzo, gal pal engaged

Los Angeles -- Heather Matarazzo's publicist said the U.S. actress is engaged to Carolyn Murphy, her companion of more than a year.

Matarazzo has co-starred in the films "Welcome to the Dollhouse" and "The

Princess Diaries," and had a recurring role on the classic TV sit-com, "Roseanne."

Her representative, Lisa Jammal, told E! News exclusively, "It was really cute.

First Heather proposed to Carolyn, then Carolyn proposed to her. ... It was love at first sight."
