San Diego -- Chad Tracy climaxed a four-run fifth inning with a two-run single Wednesday and Arizona rallied for a 7-3 win over San Diego.
The Diamondbacks remained one game in front of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League West. Those teams begin a four-game series in Los Angeles Thursday.
San Diego held a 3-1 lead going into the fifth, but Alex Romero doubled to open the inning off Cha Seung Baek (3-6). Pitcher Dan Haren then hit a grounder to third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff, whose bad throw to first allowed Romero to score.
Chris Young doubled Haren home, Orlando Hudson drew a walk and Conor Jackson reached on an infield single to load the bases. That brought up Tracy, whose single to right gave the Diamondbacks a 5-3 lead.
Mark Reynolds and Chris Snyder added solo homers in the eighth.
Haren (11-5) gave up three runs on seven hits in seven innings to get the win.
