Crude oil prices turn upby MT Bureau - July 18, 2008 - 0 comments
New York -- Crude oil prices rebounded Friday in New York to about $131 a barrel following a week of record falls. A week ago, oil prices peaked above $147 per barrel. By Thursday, prices had fallen nearly $20 per barrel. Prices were up Friday, gaining $1.60 to $130.89 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The price of heating oil rose 0.0342 cents $3.778 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline prices rose 0.0642 cents to $3.2275 per gallon. Natural gas prices rose 0.073 cents to $10.61 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded gasoline fell 0.009 cents to $4.105 per gallon, AAA said. Copyright 2008 by United Press International. Post new comment |
